XRHealth Acquires NeuroReality to Expand XR Therapy
Boston-based AI-powered virtual reality (VR) and extended reality (XR) healthcare solutions provider XRHealth has acquired NeuroReality, a VR gaming company based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. While the financial terms of the deal aren’t published, the move reaffirms XRHealth’s dominance in therapeutic XR solutions markets.

NeuroReality offers the new VR game *Koji’s Quest* focused on therapeutic and rehabilitative experience using the immersive XR. A tool to help being engaged in the course of therapy through gamification with the patient within the interactive and immersive VR, NeuroReality would improve the rehabilitation path in such a manner, therefore supporting the XRHealth goals set out in terms of extension of the scope and increase of more immersive treatment under XR.
Following this acquisition is the strategic move that XRHealth made last year with the acquisition of Amelia Virtual Care, specializing in virtual healthcare solutions. NeuroReality is being brought under its fold to further bolster the comprehensive XR platform by XRHealth for healthcare applications. With the capabilities combined, it will be able to provide a more diverse and personalized therapeutic solution that further reifies its leadership in the XR healthcare space.
Founded by CEO Eran Orr, the company XRHealth leverages cutting-edge XR technology to change the face of patient care. The firm’s platform merges various therapeutic applications-physical therapy, cognitive rehabilitation, mental health treatments, and pain management-with AI-based insights. Outside of technology creation, XRHealth is operating clinics directly but also has announced partnerships with healthcare providers around the globe for the incorporation of XR-based treatments into clinical settings.
NeuroReality acquisition will lend an additional boost to the firm’s commitment to patient-centric care through immersive technology, hence bringing rehabilitation and healthier outcomes to more people. This is a strategic expansion of the company’s position in the space of therapeutic VR, positioning the company to grow further as the leading provider in XR healthcare.
